Description: Westley Richards .375 H&H built on a commercial Mauser action with a 24 1/2"barrel with an island front sight with fold over hood and an express island rear sight with one standing and two folding leaves all with gold inlayed center lines. Bore is excellent. The commercial Mauser receiver features a three position side swing safety and custom bases topped with a Swarovski 3-9x36 scope with duplex in Alaska Arms quick release rings. These are the finest rings on the market today and are a copy of the Burgess design. Timney fully adjustable trigger. Floorplate with trigger bow release. Tasteful engraving on this firearm includes scrollwork on the receiver rings, floorplate, trigger guard and trap grip cap, as well as front and rear sights. Gold accents include inlays of a lion on the floorplate, a leopard on the grip cap, and a single gold barrel band at the muzzle and two at the breach. Stocked in an attractive piece of crossbolted English Walnut with a pancake cheekpiece, point pattern checkering, and an ebony forend tip. LOP is 14" over a well done leather covered pad which appears to be elephant. 8lb 14oz as scoped. This is an outstanding piece in very good overall condition by one of England's top tier gunmakers.
