Description:
Joseph Braddell & Son, Belfast 12 gauge, two barrel set cased. An Anson & Deeley Birmingham boxlock with two sets of ejector 30" barrels. All barrels have 2 3/4" chambers and nitro proofing. Barrel set #1 has 1 1/4 OZ proof and .727 mirror bores with 4/1000 choke (Light IC) and 20/1000 choke (Tight Mod). Barrel set #2 has 1 1/8 OZ proof with mirror bores and 731 bore right / .729 left and 6/1000 choke (IC) in both barrels. Both barrel sets share one forend. Number 1 barrels have a dovetail at hook rejoint. Gun is tight on face / no looise ribs / no cracks to wood / ejectors in time. Auto safety. Acanthus scroll engraved receiver. Weight of gun is 7 LBS 2 OZ. LOP is 15 3/16" with an ebony buttplate. Drop at comb - 1 7/16". Drop at heel - 2 3/16". Complete with what appears to be a domestically made hard case that is black leather covered. Shipping is $75. Hard to find a good English boxlock two barrel set with good choke options!
