Offered is a very rare two barrel set Winchester Model 21, 28 gauge Custom Grade Gun, with 26 inch ventilated rib barrels choked WS1 & IC and IC & Mod. The barrel lugs are stamped with the appropriate barrel numbers 1 and 2 as was the case in multi-barrel Winchester 21 sets. The serial number W32211 and the barrel rib inscription Custom Built “by” Winchester dates the build of this gun between 1969 and 1982.
This Winchester Model 21 Custom Grade Gun comes with a Grade AA full fancy American walnut English stock and Beavertail forearm with checkering of 22 lines per inch. Custom Grade Carving and Model 21-5 Engraving are featured on a “new style frame” used on custom guns built in the Custom Shop after 1960. The trigger is gold plated and the safety is non-automatic.
