Description:
Offered for sale is a very nice all original WWI Colt 1911 US Property model made in 1918, JMG inspected. The serial number is 248334. Condition is excellent , I would rate 97- 98%. Excellent original Colt factory Brushed Blue, prior to the Black Army finish. Even the original grip strap blue is in excellent condition . A few small light wear spots on the top of the slide. There is no rust or pits and all the original markings are crisp and clear. All parts are original and correct including the barrel and grips. The bore is also excellent with good shine. All mechanics are smooth and you can tell that this great original 1911 was well cared for and fired very little if at all. The original and correct two tone magazine is in excellent. This is a really nice collector grade 1911 US Property Model from 1918. C&R OK
