KENTUCKY FLINTLOCK PISTOL SIGNED HACKER MARTIN OF TENNESSEE CIRCA 1930-40. 13” overall with 8”oct. rifled .36 caliber barrel signed “HACKER MARTIN”. Tiger maple stock with engraved brass and silver mounts. Engraved lock signed “H. MARTIN”. Original hickory rod. 100% original by this famous Tennessee rifle maker known as the last of the first generation of traditional smiths. Chapter XII of Ned Roberts’ “MUZZLE LOADING CAP LOCK RIFLES” is devoted to Martin. Superb condition with a mint bore.
