WW2 WWII JAPANESE ARISAKA TYPE 99 8TH SERIES NAGOYA ARSENAL LAST DITCH 7.7MM RIFLE. Serial number "627XX". Circa 1945 "last ditch" evidenced by cylindrical bolt handle, fixed sights, lack of upper forend(forward-correct), single screw held sling swivels, wood buttplate, lack of hole for cleaning rod, etc. Fair bore may clean better. Mum ground off. Perfect late war example with all original finish (including wood finish with crisp inspectors mark behind lower tang. 100% original late Wartime manufacture would fit nicely into WW2 Arisaka collection.
