Excellent WWII Collection Piece
Here's a very nice Hungarian Femaru Model 37 pistol that was manufactured for the German military during WWII. The German issued "P.Mod.37" differed from the standard Hungarian Femaru M37 in that they were chambered for the 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP) as opposed to the .380 ACP, and they had a manual thumb safety added. This pistol is in very good condition and has properly matching serial numbers on frame, slide, and barrel. The serial number on the magazine is different. This jvh41 code pistol was manufactured in 1941, it has the German Eagle/Swastika test proof on the left side of the slide and left side of the barrel at the muzzle. The Eagle/WaA58 German military acceptance is marked on the left side of the trigger guard. There are NO import markings. The original military blue finish rates about 92-93% overall with some holster wear, a few handling marks, and some scattered light surface freckles. There is no significant rust or pitting. The vertically grooved walnut grips are correct and in very good shape without cracks or chips, just a few minor marks. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. A very well made pistol, this is a solid & honest example for the military collector.
