"Austrian Model 1867 Jäger Rifle. Overall length is 50". The 33" round 11x41Rmm caliber barrel has a fine bore. Metal has an even brown patina with scattered areas of light pitting. The stock is very good with no chips. The lock has a small crown cartouche over “872" (1872). The chamber is marked “OE/WG". Barrel is marked “WN 73" and “ST 1880". The butt plate tang has unit markings “V.L.ST R/ 7.7.3.1.). The bands are replacements. Ramrod is present. Action functions correctly. Stock has an age crack at on the left side of the butt.
