Here's a Excellent Example of a Civil War Used Henry Rifle ! Serial number 8804 . Comes with a period leather sling . Sling has dried up a bit so very stiff and delicate but all there . Shipped in early 1865 Pre GETTYSBURG BATTLE! Gun is in Fine Condition with some tones of original blue on barrel turning a nice mellow patina . Bruises and handling marks present from use . Markings are still sharp and very legible. Original sights are still present ! Bore is very good with strong rifling still remaining. Frame is a nice mellow mustard patina . Frame still had sharp corners and untouched original. Gun is in excellent working order! Original wood has handling dings but it is original and still fits proud to the brass frame and butt plate . Very nice original wood. Gun has original sling swivels still remaining. Original spring still remaining and in excellent working condition. Overal a very Handsome looking Henry Rifle .
