30" star pattern damascus barrels game rib address " Joseph Braddell & Son Castle Place Belfast". Wonderful original grey/brown gunmetal finish and double ivory beads. Barrel wall thickness minimum 028. with slight choke. This is an extraordinary gun of the highest fit and finish. Bar action locks feature sculpted hammers and profuse engraving. The Thumb Lever with knurled round nose shows the high degree of quality detail. The bottom of the action bar shows wonderful pronounced reinforcing bars that fade into the nose of the locks. The stock of beautifully figured French walnut measures 1-1/2", comb 2-1/2" heel. Length of pull measures 14-5/8" to an engraved full steel skeleton butt. Checkered triggers and a lever style for end release. Fabulous all original state of finish. Weight at 7 lbs, tight as new on the face. Number 2 of a pair. Braddell started business 1811 and maintained a premises at prestigious Castle Place in Belfast for 200 years. Fabulous gun!
