Original flintlock with the appropriate internal lock parts showing all of the fireblue finish. There is even a verdigris build up around the touchole from the brass pan. Excellent lock with correct stamps and dated "1841" Steel mounts and walnut stock bearing two excellent U.S. inspector's cartouches on the left side and retaining much of the raised feathered grain.
