1893 .38-55 ROUND BARREL FULL MAGAZINE RIFLE, #181XXX, MADE 1899. Nice, unmessed with rifle that shows uncleaned even very aged blue/brown on the barrel and magazine. The receiver is a dark mottled gray/brown with some traces of case color. Good blue on the loading gate, fine screws, excellent markings. Original buckhorn rear sight with the front sight blade copper. Generally excellent wood showing very light handling only and tight wood to metal fit. Tight action and strong half cock safety notch on the hammer. The bore is a little dark with strong rifling and some small spots of scattered pitting. Nice attic appearance.
