The lever on the left side individually selects one of the two barrels, to fire, and a sliding safety is mounted behind the hammer. All iron parts are sparsely engraved. One side of the frame is marked “TWIGG”, and the other is marked “LONDON”. The frame is proof marked on the bottom. The walnut grip shows some burl pattern on the left side. Caliber: Approx. .44 Overall Length: 7.60" Barrel Lengths: 2.20" Condition: Iron is a dark aged patina with some scattered pitting, primarily on the barrels – Action works, but the mainspring feels a bit weak – Sliding safety does not hold – Grip has shrunk a bit from the frame and has several dings and scratches SOLD Antique: Yes |
