Description:
Nice later steel barreled Lefever H Grade 12ga. Made with 28" Carmen Fluid Steel barrels, checkered splinter forend, double triggers, extractors, and capped pistol grip buttstock with original Lefever Arms Co. monogrammed buttplate. Each sideplate with a flourish of scroll as is typically found on the H Grade guns.
This gun remains in very nice condition. The barrels retain most of an older restored rust blue and bores are bright and shiny. There is evidence of an old repaired dent or two at the bottom of the left barrel about 16" from the muzzle. The dent cannot be seen or felt on the outside of the barrels. The locks and top of the action retain more than 90% of their bold original case color. Bottom of frame has mostly toned to a pleasing gray. Stocks are sound with most of their original finish and only minor handling marks. Mechanics are crisp.
