Description:
My absolute favorite game gun is a lightweight 12ga with 26" barrels and two triggers. This gun has a cherry on top with the straight grip buttstock! Made by Charles Hellis with a checkered splinter forend with Deeley push button release. The nicely scroll engraved boxlock action is case hardened with finely blued trigger plate. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock is of fine English Walnut is checkered in a two point pattern and terminates with a nice leather covered pad.
Overall the gun remains in fine original condition with about 99% of a perfectly restored rust blue on the barrels. Action retains about 1/2 of its original case color. Stocks are excellent and retain most of their hand rubbed finish with only very minor handling marks. Bores are brilliant and shiny and the mechanics are crisp.
These 2" guns are absolutely lethal on any upland bird and a joy to carry. Bring the killing power of a 12ga along for the ride with the weight of a 28!
