Description:
This gun is fitted with a very rare 24 inch full octagon pencil barrel with a full length magazine tube and a take down style frame in caliber 30-30. It features the typical period front sight, a filler blank in the rear barrel sight, and a fold tang sight. Very good plus shootable bore. Original wood has a few light handling mars but still retains most original varnish complete with a rifle style buttplate. Receiver has a very attractive appearance with 75% thinning blue and the barrel and mag have about 90% blue. Good case color still showing on the hammer and lever. Has an early antique serial number and has special order double set triggers.
