Description:
Classic Smith & Wesson Model 2 revolver in .32 caliber & with mother of pearl grips. Great looking piece and as they say, “if it could only talk”. I am told this was factory engraved and features factory pearl grips. This revolver was more than likely shipped to J.W. Storrs, Schuyler, Hartley, & Graham, or another of S&W's other New York City distributors as it features the type of engraving usually associated as "New York" or Louis D. Nimschke. This engraving consists of large floral scrolls on the sides of the frame, barrel and cylinder. Both barrel flats also feature a pointed arrow which is also a feature widely associated with Nimschke. The bore is shootable and has been shot a lot! For some reason someone could not resist polishing the piece. The engraving is respectable but obviously the results of being polished. I have priced the piece accordingly. Great for wall mount or show case presentation but totally functional with good timing. This is a pre-1898 antique piece produced from 1861-1874, possibly a Civil War piece.  For payment I will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards.  Credit cards are acceptable with a 4% up-charge for processing. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment. You are responsible for any state and local laws. By purchase of this item, you release the seller from any liability that may arise due to use or misuse of this firearm.
