Model 700 Custom Shop Bicentennial to Celebrate 200 years from 1816 to 2016, A Limited Edition Piece, 24" barrel with a 1 in 9 1/4" twist, Adjustable island rear sight by New England Custom Guns, Front ramp with a sight protector, Gold band at the muzzle, Jeweled bolt body, X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger, Drilled & tapped on the receiver ring and bridge, Two panel bolt knob checkering, Steel hinged floorplate and steel trigger guard with a center bow release, C Grade American Black Walnut, It is a nice stick of wood with excellent color and contrast, The Custom Shop stock with Fleur-De-Lis checkering, Ebony forend tip, Commemorative grip cap, Double crossbolts, Cheekpiece, Sling eyes on the stock, 13 7/8" LOP over a 1" Remington pad, 8 Lbs. 11 oz., It remains unfired, The receiver top and cylinder of the barrel engraved, The floorplate has a Gold Inlay of Eliphalet Remington walking with his first forged barrel that he made into a flintlock rifle. It comes in a commemorative Bicentennial box with a historical Remington timeline and a certificate of authenticity. The Remington Model 700 was first offered to hunters and shooters in 1962.
