This Winchester M-70 Cal .270 , Serial No. 204XXX was mfg in 1951. The overal condition is Excellent for it's vintage.
The bluing is abt 95-98% w/only slight edgewear of the muzzle, plate & trigger guard. The Barrel has the Factory original
Hooded Front sight and the Flip - adjustable Rear Sight w/a Reddish Dot
The stock is very nice Burled Medium DarkWalnut and has some very light handling marks just below the chamber area and is otherwise excellent. The checkering is perfect and the forearm area is also.The bore is a mirror w/very distinct riifling. The action is smooth and firm.
This fine Winchester M-70 is to me an Excellent Choice for the discerning M-70 collector.
