Description:
Arrieta model 557 20 gauge sidelock SxS. Perfect upland bird gun if you hunt Grouse, Woodcock, or Quail. Barrels are 27 inch, neither stubby or whippy in the woods. Perfect chokes at .003 Right and .006 Left. Both bores measure .617 and match proof marks exactly. Swamped rib with single metal bead. Stock is straight English, with 1 1/2 DAC, 2 3/8 DAH, and measuring 14 3/4 LOP over checkered butt. Slight cast off. Splinter forend with Anson push button release. Gun equipped with double triggers (front articulated), bushed strikers, cocking indicators, and hand-removable locks. Weight of gun perfect at 5 pounds, 15 ounces. Comes in a nice luggage case with snap caps.
Gun condition is near perfect. Stock has a couple of light impressions (not photographable), and no cracks, dents, or chips. Blueing and case coloring near perfect. No indentation on the breech face, indicating the gun has been fired very little. Gun is as close to new as a used gun can be. A real treat at a very fair price for some bird hunter. Shipping included to CONUS FFL addressees.
