This is a New Reproduction, Model 1766 French Charleville 69 Cal. smoothbore Musket. The Barrel is 69 Cal. 44 3/4 inches long
with a tight breech plug. The Frizzen is case-hardened and throws plenty of good sparks. The overall length is 60 inches. This Musket would be correct for Reenacting an American Solider, in Washingtons' Army. Thousands of these Muskets were sold and shipped to America Through a fake company. The French army was using the 1777 upgrade to the Charleville. The steel for this weapon is typeBS-970. We test fire each musket with a 75 Grain charge of FF Pyrodex. Shipping is $35.00 to the lower 48 states.
