Description:
Gewehr 43 marked DUV 44. This is one of the Nazi wartime codes for Berlin-Lubecker Maschinenfabrik (BLM), Germany. There is no visible import mark. The left side of the receiver is marked "G. 43", "duv 44.", with a German inspection stamp "eagle / 214", with a Nazi "eagle / swastika", with the serial number "1416" and "d". The top bolt is marked with a German inspection stamp "eagle / 214" on the top. The rear of the stationary top cover is stamped with a small Nazi waffenamt "eagle / 214". The left side of the front sight base is marked with a matching inspection stamp. The bottom of the stock is marked with the serial number "1416" and "d". The right side of the stock is marked with 2 Nazi waffenamts "eagle / swastika / WaA214" and "eagle / swastika / 214". The bottom of the grip is marked with a faded Waffenamt. The magazine is marked "aye", with a faded waffenamt that appears to read "eagle / WaAB43" and "K43. The interior of the handguard is marked "Durofol in a diamond". Scope mount marked "eagle / 214" with FEST stamped on the lever. The optic is marked "ZF K 43, dow, triangle". 8mm Mauser
