An original Remington New Model Army .44 Cal Percussion Revolver, serial range 14198x which puts in late in the production cycle. Revolver is all original with 8 inch barrel and serial number under barrel and on side of grip fram match. Grips have had a heavy coat of varnish added. Revolver is fully functional. Most of these Remingtons saw heavy use from the Civil War through the Indian Wars.
