The FN Model 1910 is a blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium. This pistol was designed by John Browning circa 1896 and was the first ever production handgun to use a slide. The design was presented to arms manufacturer FN Herstal in 1898, with production commencing the following year, then being called the Model 1899. In 1900, an improved design featuring a shorter barrel and wider grips was introduced as the Model 1900, like we have here. These designations were applied retroactively after FN began manufacture of other Browning pistol designs. Initially the Model 1900 was marketed as simply the "Pistolet Browning" (Browning Pistol). Production ceased only 11 years later, with a total of just over 700,000 units having been produced, making way for the FN Model 1910. Interestingly, United States President Theodore Roosevelt owned a mother of pearl-gripped Model 1900, which he regularly kept on his person and in his bedside drawer. It now resides in the NRA Firearms Museum in Fairfax, Virginia. The over condition is very good. Excellent action. Bright bore. The grips are solid with and average amount of wear (neither grip seats perfectly flush against the frame). The numbers match. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4 inches. Caliber: 7.65x17mmSR (.32 ACP) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee.
