Description:
This is a brand new French model 1777 Charleville Musket by Valley forge arsonal. This model was the last upgrade to the Charleville line. The upgrade included a Brass flash pan, finger grips on the trigger guard and a cheek guard carved into the stock. Our reproduction is made with a case hardened frizzen which throws plenty of sparks. The barrel is made from Type BS-970 gun steel with a walnut stock. The barrel length is 44 3/4 inches. Overall length is 60 inches. We test fire each gun with a charge of 75 grains of Pyrodex. This musket would be correct for a reenactor doing a French Infantry impression during the American Revolution. Shipping is $45.00 to the lower 48.
