Description:
Excellent functioning action its crisp and tight. The octagon barrel has got sharp corners as well as fine markings and is a gun metal grey coloration. Mag tube is about the same coloration. The brass is absolutely untouched and is turned a butterscotch yellowing patina color. Wood is in fine condition as well with some varnish having been added but the wood is not completely refinished so it gives it quiet an attractive glossy appearance. Complete with the original steel style buttplate as well as forearm cap which look to be made out of 1873 parts. Serial number is in 156,XXX range. Very attractive gun and would be a tremendous asset to anyone's Winchester collection.
