Webley M & P model with the normal .450 marking. However,I bought this from a gunsmith years ago,and he reamed out the chambers slighty for .455. About 10 yars ago,or so,it was discovered that all of Webley's solid frame castings were done in the black powder period before 1898. This piece is atamped " N S W ' ( NEW SOUTH WALES ) with there Police numbers.And of course it has the Webley factory markings on top-strap,frame left side,and their serial number.Mechanically,it just locks up nice and tight,and has the nice acorn head ejector.Barrel and cylinder have lots of nice original bluing with less on left side of frame,and right side of frame has most.And of course there is wear and some scattered pitting,as this was a wor king piece.The solid one piece grip has no cracks,some nicks from use,but not badr for age.Quite a neat stubby piece of the time period which accepted no nonsense from the criminal element ! I sell this antique revoler for collecting and display purposes. If intending to shoot,one must have store gunsmith check for safety and proper load.Though an antique,there are places where I cannot sell,and please do not waste our time SALE PENDING
