This is a Civil War 44 caliber six shot Remington NM Army revolver. The serial number is 73999 and is matching numbers. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good bright and shiny with strong rifling. It retains about 45% original blue finish and has a nice inspector’s cartouche on the grip. The right grip has a small repair at the butt and heel. The Remington was a reliable and solid Civil War revolver.
