Listing another Savage rifle I've owned a while, a 250-3000 takedown, sn 200888, sports a 22" barrel and was built in 1919. as a kid deer hunting in the early 60's I had a uncle that carried one and it was highly talked about up here in northern Wisconsin as if it was smart to hunt with such a rifle with a little 87 grain bullet with such speed. Caused a stir in 1914 after the 1912 appearance of the Hi-Power. Savage was ahead of it's time.anyway I've enclosed a number of pictures , taken apart , serial numbers, a shot of the reciever wood, not perfect but for what's out there I'd say respectable. Has the pistol grip stock, factory checkered., Lyman tang peep sight and also the reciever sight that was on it when I bought it, thought I had to have them all. Well now it's time to let a few go.the takedown before 1921 is called a ( interrupted thread ) takes a 1/4 turn to remove barrel, after 1921 it took 7 turns. I ship only to a FFL or your C&R, and I ship only through US Postal Service priority insured . Need a cashiers check or postal money orders as payment.
