Description:
Handsome Browning Superposed game gun made in Belgium at the FN factory in Herstal for the European market. Profuse and exquisite engraving on a bright coin finish. Nicely figured European walnut. Weighs 6lb 13oz and cased in an excellent condition Browning case with key. Serial number is 863RN05873. Manual safety and single selective trigger. Excellent wood and metal finishes.   ***   The 70cm(27-1/2”) quick handling barrels have a deep, rich bluing and bright shiny bores. The right side of the upper barrel is inscribed “Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah and Montreal P.Q.”. The left side is marked “Fabrique Nationale Herstal Belgique”. It is topped by a thin file cut raised ventilated rib. The chokes are marked Modified and Full. The lower barrel is bored 0.725 with a constriction of 0.017. The upper barrel is also bored 0.725 and has a constriction of 0.027.  ***   The perch belly straight grip stock and Schnabel forearm are made of nicely figured European walnut. Checkering is crisp. There are a few minor scratches here and there from normal usage. The stock has a thin plastic factory FN buttplate. Stock dimensions are 14-1/4” by 1-1/2” by 2-1/4”. Neutral cast.   ***   Super condition, good looks, and great handling. Hard to pass up this quality upland gun. You will be proud to uncase this gun at the range or for a day afield. ***   I am an FFL and will need a signed copy of your dealer’s FFL. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges. I give a 3-day non-firing inspection period which begins when the gun is delivered to purchaser’s FFL dealer or directly to the purchaser if the gun is classified as an Antique.
