Description:
Offered for sale is one (1) Spreewerk code "cyq", serial #1157b. Called a second variation with production from middle September 1942 to 1943. Original finish, mirror bright bore, AEG grips (6 broken lines company code 38 in upper circle inside grip panel, Z3 is the compound code lower circle). As a note here, the 5 broken line grips from Julius Posselt start to show up in the mid-a block cyq pistols. Pistol has a period correct magazine, spine marked "e/88" with the very scarce "b" stamp on the left side of the magazine. The production code "cyq" does not appear on the left barrel block of serial #1157b. The double action mode and hammer drop safety function perfectly. Very-very slight looseness in rear sight left to right. No Russian "X", no import marking, not dipped. For sale only in the Lower USA States, except New York.
