Marlin model 39, star marked on tang. 24" octagon barrel. Good sharp rifling. Tight, smooth action. This gun was already in the refinished condition you see in the pics when I acquired it. A nice looking, restored, accurate shooter model 39 from the golden era of Marlin manufacturing.
