Description:
Winchester model 1873 rifle in outstanding all original condition. This rifle retains 98%of the original blue and wood finish. Built in 1889,this rifle has a 24" octagon barrel with a mint bore. This rifle had been in one family since it was purchased new until I bought it. All roll marks and screws are sharp and crisp. There is a small amount of surface rust on the crescent butt,probably from gandma mopping around the rifle as it stood in the corner of a closet. Chambered in 32 WCF,this is the best condition 73 I have seen in over 40 years of collecting and dealing in fine guns. This is truely a museum quality rifle. I will consider partial trades for quality shotguns or rifles. Classified as an antique.
