SOLD. Thanks Bill! Remington 541X Target .22LR Training / Competition RIfle. Marked "U.S." on Receiver. Remington made something like 9000 of these for the U.S. Military as training or competition rifles in the late 1970-s into the early 1980's. This one has nary a mark on it. Perfect for the .22, Remington, or U.S. Martial arms collector. Needs a box. There may be a handling mark somewhere, but if so negligible in nature. Correct Williams rear aperature sight and globe front with post insert. 27" barrel, one 5 round magazine. These are obviously extremely accurate, well made rifles. Factory Remington Magazines are plentiful, inexpensive and easy to find. Ten round magazines are common also, but they would not be suitable for shooting from the prone position as they extend from the magazine well.
