**SOLD** Iliff Richardson started production of the M5 shotgun after returning home from his service in the Philippines during WWII. Richardsons story is interesting, holding the rank of Ensen in the US Navy and Major in the US Army. This is where he learned about the crude slamfire shotguns. Not many M5 shotguns were produced. A rare and interesting piece of history. A copy of American Guerrilla in the Philippines by Ira Wolfert (included) chronicles Richardsons time spent with the Guerrillas in the Philippines.
