On Hold Sale Pending. US Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 Army rifle in overall good condition. The full length 2 band dark walnut stock is in good condition showing numerous dents and dings from military use possibly in both late Indian wars and the Spanish American war. There is a faint cartouche but it's difficult to make out. The full length 32.5 inch bore with the correct front and adjustable buffing ton rear site and a good bore. All metal parts have original blue finnish turning brown. Both the lock and breach block function fine. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
