Description:
PRICE LOWERED:  This is a uniquely chambered Remington Rolling Block rifle that appears to be a Model 5 ( #5 ).  It had been rebarrelled by famous Woodbury, Connecticut gunsmith Judson Darrow (J.S. Darrow) to a .218 Bee (as marked on barrel), and then later re-chambered to .219 Zipper (based on chamber cast measurements).  The receiver is clearly marked as a Remington, and has a Patent date of:  OCTR. 22nd 1907 .  The rifle appears to have been reconfigured for Benchrest Shooting, and has been fitted with Unertl Scope Blocks, a Heavy Barrel, and sling swivels.  Rifle fires well and is in good condition.  You will have lots of fun shooting it with the addition of a good scope or target sights.  Has a 24" heavy barrel.  Action is strong and bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling.  Has a short crack on front handguard at the receiver, as shown in photos.  See photos to assess overall condition.
FLAT $25 FEE FOR SHIPPING.  Classified as a Curio & Relic.  Must be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee.
PRICE REDUCED:  I actually have no real idea what this rifle is worth, so feel free to make me an offer.
