Description:
Highly unusual 10ga "Pin Lifter" made with gorgeous laminated steel barrels.  Chambered in scarce "10B" cartridge, the gun has a wedge fastened forend with diamond shape checkering much like a $80 grade gun.  Case hardened frame with light border engraving and small scroll flourishes.  Fine walnut buttstock with English grip and original full steel buttplate.  The gun is housed in what appears to be an original French fitted Oak case.  Included in the case is 40 brass shells (mostly UMC) and original primer tins (both in excellent original condition).

The gun does not have a maker name or serial number anywhere on the gun.  It is not known why the gun was made this way other than it could have been a prototype, a special factory show gun, or some kind of lunch box gun.  Given the high quality nature of the gun and fine original state of preservation, I am inclined to think it had some sort of factory importance but have no documentation to support this theory.

Overall the gun remains in excellent original condition.  Stocks are sound and remain in excellent original condition with more than 95% original finish remaining.  The barrels are a beautiful Laminated pattern and retain more than 95% original finish with bright shiny bores with only beginning scattered orange peel.  The action retains a great amount of original case color which has turned more of a mousey gray with flashes of color throughout.  The gun does not show substantial use and is tight.  The case is excellent and original with minor nicks and handling marks.  The leather hand strap is gone.

This is a most interesting and rare early Parker hammer gun in excellent all original condition.  It is priced at $8495 plus shipping directly to you as an antique.  Please dont hesitate to contact me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions or reasonable offers.
