We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
This is an nice example of the Model 629 Compensated Hunter, sometimes known as the Light Hunter. The standout feature of this model is the compensated barrel. Other features included are a round butt frame, ball detent lock-up on yoke for extra strength, .312-inch chrome trigger with travel stop, chrome tear drop hammer, orange ramp front sight, micrometer-click rear sight, and a removable 3-7/8-inch long picatinny rail for mounting an optic or short scope. The Compensated Hunter comes with a lovely set of rosewood grips. The Model 629 has been used for everything from hunting to target shooting. This example is in excellent condition with little to no wear. It been fired as evidenced by the powder burns on the front face of the cylinder, but these are still fairly light compared to the caked surface found on a well-used revolver. The bore is also very clean. The Compensated Hunter comes with its original Smith & Wesson grey Performance Center box. There is no owner’s manual.
