Description:
Pretty nice example here, original wood only the most minimal wear or possible sanding/boning. Excellent strong bore and silky smooth action. Mostly intact fire blue where it is supposed to be. Serial 111xxx. Strong cartouche. Includes original nickel oiler in the butt and correct 1898 dated US stamped bayonet and scabbard. The scabbard unfortunately appears to have been touched by steel wool, but is solid and original. Lovely fiddleback grain to the stock. No cracks anywhere that I can see.
