Description:
This is a spectacular all-original Smith & Wesson Model 19-5 DA/SA revolver factory fitted with one of the sought-after 2.5" inch barrels, serrated ramped front sight, adjustable rear target sight, checkered Walnut grips with S&W medallions, built on a round-butt frame, is gloss-blue factory finished, and chambered in .357 Magnum. This beautiful snub-nosed S&W Model 19 appears to have been test fired only. It could have had a handfull of rounds fired thru it or less, but still looks like-new rating 98% plus! The only deductions come from an extremely faint and incomplete drag-line around the cylinder. The rest of the gun looks like-new and perfect. The bore looks like-new and mirror-bright with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections of any kind, and the action is extremely smooth, slick, and perfectly "in time" no matter how fast or slow the gun is operated, double or single-action. For all intents and purposes this is a new gun that is 34 yeras old. This Smith comes with a correct type and vintage factory S&W box (with a peeled-off end-label), and is complete with the fitted cardboard insert, the factory owner's manual, registration card, and warranty paperwork. It would be nearly impossible to upgrade from this beauty outside of having the serial-numbered box label still in place. This 2.5" inch Model 19 is as good as it gets and a re very sought-after by collectors and shooters alike. This Smith & Wesson 19-5 would make an excellent long-term investment piece for your collection, and with prices seeming to rise every month they will never be cheaper than they are now!
