This is a very nice 1944 mauser 98 BYF Rebuild by FN ? post war 7.62 NATO the receiver with WA135 stamps has not been scratched out . It is ultra rare FN claw mounts FN style bolt handle . Also has a period correct 4x power Kollmorgen Military style Olive drab finish optic. Very good Bluing is excellent ,-trigger is excellent . This gun was probably manufactured for Israel or police after the war not all parts are matching it's a really good shooter yeah and collectible. Can sell with or without scope and mounts FN claw mounts and scope 500 less..Missing cleaning rod sight hood. Some so-called experts think it's and it's Israeli Mauser I'm not sure about that.
