Description:
Very rare little Ideal Grade 410ga gun made with 26" barrels, auto ejectors, double triggers, and auto safety. Splinter forend checkered in point pattern. Case hardened and engraved action. Capped pistol grip buttstock with original buttplate. Receiver is engraved in beautiful Ideal floral pattern.
This gun remains in exceptional original condition. Barrels retain more than 97% original blue. Stocks are sound and retain more than 97% original finish with only very minor handling marks. Receiver is excellent with more than 90% original case color - fading at carry point but bold and vivid elsewhere. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. A very lightly used gun.
This fine Smith is one of about 100 made in this configuration and certainly in the top 5-10% of the 410's I have handled for condition. Absolutely investment grade!
