Description:
This Marlin Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle is a big-game-dropping performer using the venerable 45-70 Government cartridge. It is a right-hand lever action repeating rifle with a 22-inch barrel. It has Buckhorn folding rear sight & a hooded ramp front with a brass bead. It is also drilled and tapped for a scope base. The butt stock is a smooth walnut straight grip. The forearm is a smooth walnut. Manufactured in 1972, the first year of production of the Marlin 1895. The .45-70 retains great popularity among American hunters and is still offered by several commercial ammunition manufacturers. .45-70 Government
