Description:
For sale is a very nice Winchester 1887 Type 3 Winder Musket chambered in .22 Short. The bore is very good with no piting. The metal finish is excellent with a slight fading at the muzzle and a few small scratches. The wood is good with the only noticeable dings on the comb and a chip missing on the left side at the forearm cap. (see pictures) The coil spring action is tight and functions as designed. This gun requires a FFL transfer and is C&R qualified. Ensure your FFL will accept a transfer from a private individual. If a FFL shipper is required add $25 to the sale price. Shipping will be by UPS ground with insurance and tracking. No sales to California or Hawaii. Alaska sale require additional shipping costs.
