We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

Description:
The Model 686 is the de-facto standard of the Smith & Wesson medium-frame revolver line. It has been used for every purpose from self-defense to target shooting and by a great many people. Like its blued finish cousin, the Model 586, the 686 was designed to correct then existent strength issues with its predecessor, the stainless K-frame Model 66 by using the new, slightly larger L-frame. That Smith & Wesson succeeded with the 686 can be attested to by the fact that the model has been in continuous production since 1980. The example here is a brand new in box Performance Center Pro Series SSR version. It features a 4-inch, tapered-lug barrel, a red ramp front sight and Micrometer-click rear sight, chamfered charge holes in the cylinder, a bossed mainspring, and a recessed crown at the muzzle. The Pro Series SSR has a 0.312-inch smooth combat trigger and a 0.375-inch semi-target hammer. The revolver has been equipped with SSR ergonomic grips designed to force the shooter to use a high hand hold for better gripping during firing. It would make a nice shooter.
