Description:
Here is a beautiful set of highly polished natural bone grips that look and feel just like Old Ivory, with all the strong grain and character of mother natures material. These grips are made of very dense hard natural bone and will age just like Ivory over time. Each pair of grips will fit on a 1st or 2nd generation 1873 Colt SAA and on some of the Colt copies and some of the 1861, 51 originals and some of their copies. It is best to send us a tracing of your grip before you order so we can be sure of a good fit. On the inside of the grip is a locator pin hole, that will match up with your Colt pin. You may have to adjust the a hole slightly for the best fit. After that almost no additional fitting is required. You will get the grips like those you see in these pictures no two will be exactly alike. Most will have some character cracks, but are guaranteed stable. Remember they are natural material and may have some minor imperfections. They are not as dense as ivory and can have noticeable porous areas.
IMPORTANT NOTE- If you alter these in anyway they can not be returned or exchanged.
