Description:
One Box of Ten Vintage 450 Express Cartridges by Dominion Cartridge Company of Montreal, Canada. This is an open box with all ten original cartridges in very good condition. The bullets are paper patched and it looks like they may have solid copper cores. The rim thickness is about .040 Inches and the cases are 3-1/4 inches long. They are similar to 45-120 American cartridges except the rim is .040 thick not like the .060 rim on the American 45-120 cartridges. I believe these are loaded to 450 Black Powder Express Cartridge pressures and are lighter pressure loads and lighter bullets than the 450 Nitro Express Cartridges. That is just a guess on my part. All I know about these cartridges is what I read and see on and in the box and the box does not include specifications other than caliber.
The condition of the cartridges is excellent. All cartridges appear original to this box. The box and label are complete but the boxes are splitting on the corners and will need some restoration work. These are just as I found them at a gun show. I do not collect Sales Tax and I offer Free UPS Ground Shipping.
