About Us: Antique Collector since 1985. I also have a few modern items that will require a FFL or C&R license. No exceptions. Happy collecting and investing in a product that continues to rise as material and labor costs rise. And the labor force becomes less about quality. China and Mexico items just don’t seem to last.

Description:
Rolling back prices like Walmart.   Guy backed out.  Dropping it $150.  $1125.   Gotta be the cheapest one out there.   Good representation of Winchesters first bolt action.   Served the
US Cavalry well for years.  instead of the old Springfield trapdoor single shot.  Also a good gun.   But when your getting shot at it's nice to have more than one shot.
Antique Winchester Hotchkiss 45-70 saddle ring carbine.  Excellent bore.   Wood has a solid repair.   Probably from a horse rollover.   Seen this a few times.
A buddy of mine had a horse that about every time we’d get into a creek.   He wanted to roll in it.  Good way to ruin a nice saddle or saddle gun.  But sometimes they just stumble and roll    Time to get out the way.
Should be a great shooter for hogs or brush hunting for elk either one.  Good 200 yd gun
the old 45-70 is pretty heavy and tends to drop off pretty quick after 200 yds.
But if you shoot it quite a bit you can get acquainted with the ladder sight and how it shoots out to 500 yds and more.  500 yds open sights is certainly challenging though.
Check out my other investments
im not a big stock market fan.  In May 2008 I called my Financial advisor ????   Asked him to put my money in a safer spot.  Every time he talked me out of it.  Then when it started dropping, I couldn’t get in touch with them.
Lost 60%.   Then the Stockmarket went back up.   But my money wasn’t going with it.
He said I wasn’t in the right part of the Stockmarket for growth.
I wanted to put a rope on him.   He was about 75 years old and supposedly a financial guru.
I guess it was a valuable, costly lesson.
Wish id had that money in guns, gold and silver
and They all lived happily ever after,  The end
