Fantastic new in Box (slight damage to box, see photos) Colt Second Generation 3rd Model Dragoon Revolver Serial Number 24643. 7 and 1/2 inch barrel. 44 caliber. Factory finished in the white this 3rd Model is one of a unique special run ordered by the legendary Colt expert R. L. “Larry” Wilson for a prominent Connecticut collector to be engraved by the equally legendary Colt factory engraver, Alvin White. It has remained in its original plastic, with instruction booklet, and other factory paperwork, all in its Colt paper box (some minor tears). It is a true time capsule. C series second generation Colts are regarded as authentic Colt revolvers as they were assembled by Colt in Hartford and will letter.
